rosenborg-castle.pro is a purely informational website about the Royal Collections of Denmark.
The site exists for one purpose only: to present historical and cultural information about the castles, the monarchy and the Royal Collections of Denmark. You can read it as you would read a printed book — anonymously, without registering, without leaving anything behind.
The “Contact” page contains a form for convenience. When you press the submit button, that form does not transmit anything to any server controlled by rosenborg-castle.pro. Instead, your default mail program opens a new message with the fields you filled in already written into the body of the email.
From that moment on, whether or not you actually send the email — and what you send — is entirely under your control, within your own mail client and your own mail provider. We receive only what you choose to send to [email protected], and we keep that email only for as long as is necessary to answer your question.
This site uses only one strictly necessary technical cookie / local-storage entry, used solely to remember whether you have already dismissed the cookie banner. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party trackers, no fingerprinting. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Like every website on the public internet, the hosting provider that serves these pages may keep brief technical access logs (for example IP address, time of request, requested page) for short-term security and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are managed by the hosting provider, are not used by us for any analytical purpose, are not joined with any other information, and are never used to identify individual visitors.
This site loads its typography from Google Fonts as a static stylesheet. No other third-party scripts, widgets, analytics tools, advertising networks or social-media trackers are embedded on the pages. We do not use Google Analytics, Yandex.Metrica, Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel or any equivalent tracking tool.
The content of this site is suitable for visitors of any age. Because we do not collect any data at all, we cannot and do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, EU 2016/679) and the Danish Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict and object to the processing of any personal data a controller holds about you. As rosenborg-castle.pro holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or erase on our side. If you have nonetheless written to us by email, you can at any time ask us to delete that correspondence by writing to [email protected].
If we ever change the way this site works — for example by adding a new feature that would in fact require collecting data — we will update this policy and the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Until you see such a change, the statements above remain in force.
